Nestled in the mountains just 40-minutes from Denver, at 8,900 feet in elevation, our beautiful, modern venue sits.

We are a 100% solar-powered wedding venue, located on the old North Star mining claim in Arapaho National Forest.

These mountains are full of natural beauty and undisturbed, 360 degree mountain views.

We love celebrating the mountain of the mountains alongside your stories of romance, and can’t wait to share our space!

Say “I do” with your friends and family on our ceremony deck while overlooking the Continental Divide.

Folding ceremony chairs for up to 170 guests are included in venue rental, as well as a triangle arch and tree stumps.

Situated just below 9,000 ft. in elevation, North Star Gatherings is located on 35 pristine acres of forest service land in Idaho Springs, Colorado, and runs completely on solar power. You’ll have the whole mountain to yourself to dance the night away among majestic Colorado Rockies.

Our venue gets its name from the the former “North Star Mining claim” where the venue is located.

The bright and modern Great Hall is fully lined with windows and view-through doors to bring those beloved mountain views inside from every direction.

Our main reception space, it’s enough for beautiful farmhouse tables, dance floors, bands, and whatever your mind dreams upf or decor.

The Great Hall features a built-in bar, chandeliers, and gas fireplace, and can accommodate up to 170 people for a seated dinner, including the wedding party.

the cocktail deck

Enjoy cocktail hour in style: overlooking the Rockies with a drink in hand, procured at our built-in bar.

The cocktail deck has its own stunning mountain views, and spans the entire length of the building, meeting up with the ceremony deck in the West. Views are unobstructed, and the drinks can be sipped slowly.

Cocktail tables and propane-powered deck heaters are included in every venue rental.

Wildlife spotting from the deck is common, and we hope you get to enjoy the birds and deer and happy little flowers from that view.

The Loft is our interior getting ready space, located above The Great Hall and complete with a makeup counter, powder room, and lots of comfy seating to kick back, relax, and get ready on the big day.

Our Aspen House is our beautiful second getting ready space tucked in the venue’s aspen grove and overlooking the Eastern ridge.

This tiny home turned wedding prep space is equipped with electricity, racks for hanging clothes, fans, heat, and comfortable tables and chairs for pre-ceremony lounging, as well as a large glass door to welcome the outside in.

To deter wildlife the Aspen House is closed after cocktail hour. The Loft is open all night!
