Hi! We’re the Urbans!

Two college sweethearts turned parents turned venue owners.

Our journey along this very winding and wild road started way back at our own wedding in Maryland ten years ago.

We partied hard that night, deep in trees, reveled in the live band, danced under handmade jellyfish umbrellas and neon lights, and had so much good food and drink that the morning after was ahem.. equally as memorable.

After that day, our guests couldn’t stop talking about how much fun they had, and how it was the best wedding they’d ever attended.

As we rooted ourselves in Colorado and our family grew, our hopes and dreams kept changing. We realized a perfect future for us involved creating a space in the beautiful Colorado mountains to relive those priceless memories from our own wedding day.

In 2017, we purchased our new land, sitting atop the defunct North Star Mining Claim, overlooking the Continental Divide.

In September 2019, we hosted our first official weddings.

We hope to share our passion for connecting with people and nature by providing a magical and unique space, powered solely by the sun and completely surrounded by our beloved mountains, for you to gather and celebrate with your loved ones.

This is Sydney!

She’s your wedding day Gandalf, here to check in, keep everyone on schedule, secure boring documents, and ensure we are all ready to give you the best wedding ever! If you’re calling or emailing, 9 times out of 10, Sydney will be on the other end, ready to answer your call.

She rock climbs, does yoga, and reads an excessive amount in her free time.

She has been married to her husband, Ethan, for 5-years, and they work remotely all over the world whenever they can. She also owns a photography business we adore.

To know her is to love her! Our DJ queen, lover of hiking, introversion and wild dance parties (it’s all about balance, after all), we adore having Audrey on our team. You will see her working weddings and giving tours.

Our resident yogi and mountain-loving girlie, there’s not much Julie doesn’t do. She’s wildly accomplished, loves the outdoors, and when she’s not working weddings, she’s snuggling with her kitties and spending time in nature with her group of friends.

As a wedding planner herself, Amber brings a creative eye to the venue and a love for weddings and all they bring to people’s lives. She’s never met a stranger, loves to share stories, and married her husband in Denver!
